How much is my car worth in Venezuela?

The real value of a car isn't what you think, or what the listing says: it's what people actually pay for it. Here's how it's calculated, no jargon, and what pushes it up or down — compared against the 2,025+ cars listed on Conduce.

What everyone asks

How do I know what my car is worth?+

The real value comes from comparing your car with others of the same model for sale in the Venezuelan market — not from what you think it's worth or the price you listed it at. Conduce takes those comparables, adjusts them for year and mileage, and takes the median. That number is the realistic starting point. In the app you get it for free in seconds: enter make, model, year and mileage and it gives you a range.

What is Conduce Real Price?+

It's Conduce's valuation engine. It takes the cars of the same model listed on the platform, discards the ones that don't apply (rentals, auctions and drafts), normalizes each one for the difference in year and mileage against your car, and calculates the median of all those adjusted prices. It uses the median instead of the average so a single car with a crazy price doesn't drag the result. From that it tells you if your car is a deal, fairly priced, or overpriced.

How much does mileage affect the value?+

Quite a bit. At the same year and trim, a car with more kilometers is worth less because it has more wear. Conduce adjusts the value based on the mileage difference against the comparables: the more kilometers your car has above the market, the lower the estimate goes, and the opposite if it's below average. Real, verifiable mileage is one of the things that moves the number the most.

Why is my car worth less than I thought?+

It's almost always because you were comparing against listing prices, which tend to be inflated as a starting point for negotiating. The real value is what actually gets paid, not what shows up in the ad. Year, high mileage, a more basic trim than you thought, overall condition, and whether the history is verified or not all matter too. A car without a verified history creates distrust and sells for less.

Where can I value my car for free?+

In the Conduce app. It's free and you don't need to register to see the estimate. Enter the car's details and it shows you the real value range in the Venezuelan market, compared against cars of the same model listed on the platform. If you also verify the history with the VIN, the value goes up because buyers trust it more.
